Camp FAQs
What should my child wear?
We are outside and It can get hot during camp. T-shirts, shorts, and athletic shoes are recommended. If your child has cleats, they can bring them however, they are not required.
What about snacks?
We will provide a nut-free snack daily for our campers. We will email after registering asking for food allergies so that we can make sure not to offer a snack that your child can’t have.
What should my camper bring?
You do not need to buy any equipment for camp. We do suggest bringing sunscreen or putting it on before camp. Please bring a water bottle. Hats or visors, if desired.
*We will have coolers of water for the campers to maintain appropriate hydration levels, as well. We will have frequent water breaks.
Who are the camp coaches?
They will be a mix of Medina sport specific athletes and adults. We may also have college athletes assisting as well! Coaches have diverse backgrounds and all have been hand picked by Kidokinetics staff.
What is the ratio of staff to kids?
It varies per sport, but on average 1:8-10
What if it rains?
Camps will take place with light rain. Only in the event of heavy rain, lightning or extreme heat will we postpone/cancel a session. Unfortunately, we do not have access to an indoor alternative at Buckeye Woods Park.
*We will provide tents for shelter everyday at camp for shade, breaks and to wait out weather, if necessary
Do you offer refunds?
Should your child become sick or there is a situation that requires their withdrawal from camp, please contact us via email at mroller@kidokinetics.com. There will be no refunds for camp no-shows. If you need to reach us at anytime during the camp, you can call Marilyn at 330-391-1268
After registration you will receive an email where we will share a typical daily schedule, collect emergency contact and allergy information, etc.
