CAMP SCHEDULE 

CAMP DETAILS

    • Three Camp Options - AM, PM, and Full Day
    • Open to kids ages 5-11 yr old (K-5th)
    • Daily Schedule/Programming:
      • AM 9-12 pm; PM 1-4 pm; Full Day 9-4 pm
      • 1/2 Day Campers: Participate in 3 hours of athletic enrichment - see sports listed above
      • Full Day Campers: 
        • AM - Athletic enrichment
        • PM - Athletic enrichment, w/choice activities (yoga, arts/crafts, games, free play, etc.)
    • Flexible Drop off/Pick Up Available: $50/week
      • AM Windows: 8 am - 12:45 pm
      • PM Windows: 12:45 pm - 5 pm
      • Full Day Window: 8 am - 5 pm
    • Cost/session: 
      • 1/2 Day: $255
      • Full Day: $365 
      • Includes t-shirt and swag bag
      • Multi-week discount: $25 discount applied to additional weeks after registration is submitted
      • Enrollment billing will process 30 days before the camp start date

      • No religious affiliation to St Francis - Open to everyone!

    • All camp leaders are CPR certified and cleared through the LARA childcare and Michigan School Volunteer & Employee Criminal History background check.

    WHAT TO EXPECT:

    Each session will include a warm-up, a stretch, a sports introduction with skills, drills, and a scrimmage or game to practice our new learnings, highly active games and activities, and a cool down.  We will provide enough water breaks and snack time to keep your child energized and hydrated.

    FAQs

    • Q: Does my child need to have experience with the sports you are introducing them to?
    • A: No - We will start with many hands-on drills and skills to help your child learn the fundamentals.

     

    • Q: Who are the Camp Coaches?
    • A: They will be a mix of adults, college kids, and high schoolers. All will receive 10+ hours of Kidokinetics training and pass multiple session delivery assessments to ensure they meet the program's standards. We take pride in all of our activities and want to ensure the safest and most productive experience. We will maintain a ratio of 1 coach to 6 kids. 

     

    • Q: My child will turn five during the summer. Can I sign them up?
    • A: Yes. Sign them up! If you’re concerned, email Jenn to discuss - jtankanow@kidokinetics.com

     

    • Q: Will you provide snacks?
    • A: No. Due to allergies, we request that parents/caregivers provide a nut-free snack. (e.g., fruit, vegetables, pretzels, meat sticks)

     

    • Q: What if it rains? Will you cancel?
    • A: No. We will move inside the gym to ensure the campers continue to get the most out of their week. 

     

    • Q: What is your cancellation policy?
    • A: A $25 fee is applied to all refunds. Refunds will be given if at least 30 days before your camp start date. Please notify Jenn - jtankanow@kidokinetics.com in writing for any cancellation requests. 

     

    • Q: Our plans changed. Can I move my child to another session?
    • A: Yes! If available, we will happily accommodate your change request at no extra charge. Email Jenn - jtankanow@kidokinetics.com to request the change.

     

    WHAT TO WEAR/WHAT TO BRING:

    • Athletic clothing and shoes that allow full movement throughout the day.
    • Water bottle
    • Nut-free snack
    • Please apply sunscreen before arrival. We will have on-site backup if needed. 
    • Hat or visor, if desired (our activities will occur both inside and outside).
