Each week, we focus on one sport to help campers master the basics before moving on to the next Olympic challenge:
Daily drop-ins are welcome; however, availability is limited and space cannot be guaranteed. We encourage families to register in advance to secure their spot.
What should I wear?
Please send your child in comfortable athletic clothing and sneakers (non slip sole for gym floor). Toes must be covered. Crocs or similar clog type shoes are highly discouraged. We request all children wear sneakers or tennis shoes.
Are lunch and snacks included?
We do not provide lunch or snacks for our kids. Please pack lunch and two snacks for your child.
How does it work if I plan to drop off my child?
Safety is our #1 priority. We use a secure color coded wristband system to ensure every child leaves with the correct adult. Upon check-in, both you and your child will be provided a color-coded wristband featuring their name. The corresponding wristband (parent band) must be presented at pick up. Additionally, parents must sign in and sign out upon drop off and pick up.
Where is the camp specifically located inside the Community Center?
Upon entry into the Community Center, proceed downstairs to the gym.
What if someone else will be picking up my child?
The parent/guardian must provide a written statement with that person's full name at the time of check in. The alternative person must present identification at the time of pick up. This will be verified against the parent's written note.
What specific skills will be taught?
Under the guidance of the Kidokinetics team, kids will work on various sports fundamentals. Our coaches work directly with every child, providing feedback and high fives throughout the session.
What will my child receive at the end of the week?
To celebrate their hard work, every child will receive a certificate of completion and a photo with the coaching team if desired.
Will this event be photographed/video recorded?
Yes, photos will be taken during the event by our team for use on our social media page. If you do not wish for your child to be photographed, please make our team aware at the time of check-in.
What ages do you serve?
Camp is for children ages 5–11.
What’s your cancellation/refund policy?
Full refund if you cancel within 14 days before the start of the session. 50% refund if you cancel within 7 days before the start of the session. No refunds after the start.
Kids are grouped by age and grade to ensure age-appropriate play.
What if my child has allergies/medications?
Parents are asked to share medical information on registration and staff will accommodate.
Is before/after care available?
No. We do not offer before or after care at this time. Camp operates strictly during our scheduled daily camp hours, and drop-off and pick-up must take place within those times.
Do you go outside?
We do not go outside. All activities take place in the gym.
Sample Daily Schedule
Hydration breaks will be taken throughout the day. Please bring water bottles labeled with the child’s first and last name.
Registration Notice: Mandatory Documentation
Please be advised that under Maryland Department of Health (MDH) regulations, the completion of your registration is contingent upon the submission of all required medical and legal documentation. Following your registration, you will receive a separate, personalized email containing a secure link to our digital portal. This portal will allow you to upload your child’s health history, immunization records (MDH Form 896), and, if applicable, any physician-signed medication authorizations required for camp attendance. All documents must be submitted and verified prior to your child’s first day of camp to ensure full compliance with state safety guidelines.
