About
Kidokinetics Sports Play at Montessori Gifted Prep
Kidokinetics Sports Play is a fun, engaging, and age-appropriate introduction to movement, play, and basic sports skills designed especially for our youngest learners. At this stage, the focus is not on mastering sports, but on building confidence, coordination, and a love for being active.
Children will be gently introduced to a variety of simple sports and movement activities through imaginative games and playful instruction. Each week, kids explore new ways to move, throw, roll, balance, kick, and play — all adapted to their developmental level and attention span.
Activities are designed to support early childhood development, including:
• Development of gross motor skills
• Balance and body awareness
• Hand-eye coordination
• Listening and following directions
• Social interaction and cooperative play
Sports and activities may include simplified, toddler-friendly versions of games inspired by basketball, soccer, bowling, golf, obstacle courses, and more. Every child participates, every class, in a positive and encouraging environment.
Our program emphasizes fun, movement, and exploration in a non-competitive setting where children feel safe, successful, and excited to try new things.
Kidokinetics classes are led by experienced coaches and include:
• Warm-up and movement play
• Introduction to the weekly activity
• Guided games and skill exploration
• Cool-down and stretching
• Short, age-appropriate body awareness lessons
At Kidokinetics, learning is all about F.U.N. — Fundamental, Understandable, and Noncompetitive.
Give your child an early start in developing coordination, confidence, and a lifelong enjoyment of physical activity.
