Hi, We’re Brett and LJ DuPont, the proud owners of Kidokinetics NW Portland.

In 2024, we chose to bring Kidokinetics to NW Portland because we believe every child deserves the chance to move, play, and build confidence in a fun, non-competitive environment. We were drawn to the program’s focus on helping kids fall in love with an active lifestyle and helping families understand the importance of motor skills in whole child development. With our own passion for staying active and supporting families in our community, we knew this was the perfect way to give back and make a positive impact close to home.

About Our Family

Favorite Kidokinetics sport/activity: We love obstacle courses! We get to see the different levels each kid brings to class as well as enjoy all the giggles and smiles!

Favorite local business: Pac Thai! The flavor and smell of their dishes takes us back to our few months stay in Thailand!

Favorite family activity: Experiencing new places near and far and family time.

Fun fact about us: In 2022, we took a life-changing leap: leaving a stable job of nearly 20 years, selling almost everything we owned, and buying a one-way ticket to SE Asia to finally experience the adventure we’d always dreamed of.
